It is hard to believe that almost a year has passed since the last One Book One Town event took place on March 9, 2020. It was one of the last events in Fairfield before Covid-19 shut down schools, libraries, stores, restaurants and offices. But life has a way of continuing to move forward and reminding us of the power of resilience. This year, the Fairfield Public Library, along with the Pequot Library and Fairfield University, are participating in a different kind of event. The book selection this year, Punching the Air, is sure to be thought provoking and discussion worthy. I look forward to hearing the authors speak (virtually) on March 2.
